How I Show Up:

As a Coach and Facilitator, I show up to our sessions with the intention of boundless curiosity, meeting you where you are, and curating a grounded and calm space. I hold clients in deep compassion, empathy, love, and presence while offering reflections and insights when appropriate. I encourage them to embrace the totality of who they are and step into a space where they feel confident to express this wholeness. I love shinning a light on the beauty and infinite nature I see within the beings I work with while holding the truth of who society has conditioned them to be.

Coaching is:

Coaching is a container in which the client and coach co-create each and every session. I view coaching as the bridge between who we are now and who we want to be. The role of a coach is to create a judgement-free safe space, be curious, meet the client where they are, ask expansive questions, gently disrupt, make you feel lovingly uncomfortable and utilize tools and modalities to guide and support the client through their transformation. As I was trained through Coaching Evolved, my style of coaching is rooted in the following:

  • Providing support to move you forward meaning although the past will come up, our focus will be on the future and your next phase of evolution. This is one of the main delineations between coaching and therapy.

  • Aiming to create change on all five layers of one's being - physical, emotional, energetic, mental, and spiritual - while connecting the client to their current core values. This approach allows for the transformation a client undergoes to be both sustainable and embodied.

  • Working myself out of a job :) My overall goal as a coach is to ensure you are ready at the end of our 12 week container to continue working towards your goals, dreams, and desires without me! If at the end of the 12 weeks we decide it is in your highest good to continue working together I will happily meet you where you are.

Conscious Breathwork is:

Conscious Breathwork is a potent tool which utilizes breath to help move stagnant and stuck energies which have accumulated over the duration of life. Each and every action, word, thought and experience is energy. As we go through life, unprocessed events, traumas, and self-limiting beliefs become stored in our bodies and affect how we experience and react to the world. Our responses to these energies are from our body doing what it is meant to do, protect us. However, over time these energies and the patterns created from them begin to interfere with our well-being and view of ourselves. Breathwork allows us the opportunity to release the energies that are no longer serving us and shift the perspective we have with life events and our relationship to the world. Ultimately, it can create space for healing, widen our ability to sit with our emotions as well as numerous other emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual benefits.

Conscious Breathwork is done in a circular pattern, emphasizing the inhale, through the mouth. If accessible, one lays on their back with pillows or blankets to support head / back / legs. The journey is typically 45-60 minutes long and can go for longer. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, come with an open mind, avoid a large meal about 3-4 hours prior and refrain from alcohol both before and after the session.

Contraindications to Breathwork:

  • Asthma

  • Cardiovascular Disease, including history of heart attack, angina, and pacemaker

  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

  • High Blood Pressure which is not controlled with medication

  • Pregnancy - first trimester

  • Feeling unwell / sick

  • Any other medical condition that could pose a risk

Reiki is:

Reiki (霊気) is a powerful healing modality and can be translated as the universal energy and numinous atmosphere. Mikao Usui Sensei began giving Reiki attunements in Japan in the early 1900s and it has been long revered as a beautiful method of energy work and connection to the divine. To me, Reiki is the frequency and energy we call love.

Reiki helps open energy centers through utilization of the Universal Life Force Energy honored and known in different cultures as Chi, Ki, Prana, Mana, Manitou, Holy Spirit, etc. allowing stuck and stagnant energies to flow. The practitioner transmits this higher frequency of energy to their clients to assist them in their own healing process.

As Reiki generates relaxation, calm and ease it is often used in conjunction with and as a complement to Western healing practices such as chemotherapy and dialysis. It can also assist in relief from chronic conditions such as arthritis, supporting emotional healing from traumatic events and difficult transitions, and easing the anxiety, fears, and pain surrounding end of life transitions.

Participants simply lay or sit in a comfortable position as Reiki is being channeled by their practitioner. During an in-person session, hands hover above the receiver's body. I currently only offer Reiki alongside Breathwork for in-person clients.

Contraindications to Reiki:

  • Any non-consenting parties

  • Any recently broken bones
